Cloud Communication PlatformAcceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of the platform. By sending traffic you agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
Prohibited content (SHAFT and beyond)
You may not send messages that contain or promote:
- Sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, or tobacco (SHAFT) where prohibited or without the required age gating and consent.
- Illegal products or services, including controlled substances and cannabis where not permitted.
- Phishing, fraud, deceptive marketing, or impersonation of a person or organization.
- Malware, links to malicious sites, or content that violates intellectual property rights.
Prohibited practices
- Sending without prior express consent from the recipient.
- Ignoring opt-out requests, or making it difficult to opt out.
- Snowshoeing — spreading similar traffic across many numbers to evade filtering.
- Number rotation to bypass carrier limits or registration.
- Sharing a campaign or numbers across unrelated businesses.
Consent
You must obtain and keep records of opt-in consent for every recipient, and the consent must match the campaign use case under which the messages are sent.
Enforcement
Violations can result in message filtering, campaign suspension, account suspension, pass-through fines levied by carriers, and termination. We cooperate with carriers and regulators on abuse investigations.
