This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes the rules that apply to any party (“you”, “your”, “yours”, or “Customer”) using products or services provided by Portman Holdings LLC, doing business as Cloud Communication Platform, or any of its affiliates (“Services”), and to any person using the Services, including through products or services provided by a Customer (“End User”). Portman Holdings LLC and its applicable affiliates are referred to collectively as “Cloud Communication Platform” in this AUP.
The prohibited conduct described in this AUP is not exhaustive. Customer is responsible for its End Users’ compliance with this AUP and for making End Users aware of these requirements. If Customer or an End User violates this AUP, Cloud Communication Platform may restrict, suspend, or terminate Customer’s access to or use of the Services.
This AUP may be updated by Cloud Communication Platform from time to time upon reasonable notice, which may be provided through Customer’s account, by email, or by posting an updated version at https://app2.cloudcommunicationplatform.com/legal/acceptable-use-policy
Do not use the Services to engage in or encourage activity that is illegal, deceptive, harmful, violates another person’s rights, or harms Cloud Communication Platform’s business operations, systems, customers, providers, networks, or reputation, including:
Violating laws, regulations, governmental orders, industry standards, carrier requirements, telecommunications provider requirements, or applicable guidance in any jurisdiction. This includes requirements to obtain consent before transmitting, recording, collecting, or monitoring data or communications and requirements to honor opt-out requests.
Interfering with or negatively affecting any aspect of the Services or any third-party system or network connected to the Services.
Reverse engineering, copying, disassembling, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code, underlying structure, algorithms, or non-public technical components of the Services, except to the limited extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
Creating a false identity, impersonating another party, spoofing contact information, or attempting to mislead others regarding the sender, source, ownership, or origin of data or communications.
Do not violate or attempt to compromise the integrity, availability, security, or intended operation of the Services, including through the following activities:
Attempting to bypass, exploit, defeat, avoid, or disable limitations, controls, restrictions, billing mechanisms, usage limits, compliance safeguards, or technical protections placed on the Services.
Searching for, testing, exploiting, or attempting to exploit security vulnerabilities without express written authorization, or attempting to bypass security mechanisms, authentication controls, filtering capabilities, or access restrictions.
Launching or facilitating a denial-of-service attack or engaging in conduct intended to disrupt, disable, degrade, overload, or impair the Services or connected systems and networks.
Transmitting or deploying code, files, scripts, agents, programs, viruses, malware, or other material intended to cause harm, or using automated systems, including bots, to gain unauthorized access to or improperly use the Services.
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Services, another account, customer data, systems, devices, credentials, or networks.
Customer is responsible for determining whether the Services provide safeguards appropriate for Customer’s intended use, including safeguards required by applicable law, regulation, contract, industry standard, or internal policy, before Customer or its End Users transmit, store, or process data or communications through the Services.
